Kommo AI: Setting up, limits, and pricing

Kommo AI offers a range of features for improving your business communication, with most of them available without any setup. The only exception is the Kommo AI Replies feature. To use it, you need to upload your relevant business information for AI to use as a data source for response generation. In this article you will learn how to set it up.

Setting up Kommo AI Replies

First, follow these steps: Navigate to Settings > Communication Tools > AI Reply Suggestions. Turn the toggle on to enable this feature.

Uploading Sources

  1. Click the + Add new knowledge source button and select the type of source: URL or text file (PDF, DOC, or DOCX, with a maximum size of 45 MB).
  2. Choose the language of your knowledge source.

  1. For URLs, paste the desired one. For example, to provide information on Kommo, use https://www.kommo.com/. Choose whether to use a specific page or all connected webpages as sources. If the URL is incorrect or unavailable, Kommo will let you know.

  1. For text files, select Text file as the source type, choose the desired file from your computer, and click Upload.
  2. Wait for your source to upload. This can take up to 2 hours depending on the size of your source.
  3. Name your source or use the default name.
  4. The system will collect data, and the source will appear on the list for AI use.

Note: A single URL source can contain up to 1500 web pages. Some web pages may not be available for parsing, for example, pages hidden by JavaScript, requiring login credentials, CAPTCHA verification, or document links, will not be accessible. The AI can only process text, not images.

Modifying Sources

  • To update a text source, upload a new file.
  • To update a URL source, click the Update button to fetch the latest version of the website.

After setting up your sources, you can start using Kommo AI Replies to generate responses to client messages.

Kommo AI limits and pricing

Enterprise, and Trial accounts can use Kommo AI for free. Kommo AI is not available for Base and Advanced plans. There are also usage limits for ensuring fair access and preventing system abuse.

Note: Limits apply only to features accessed through lead cards. Using AI to search through sources does not count towards these limits.

Personal limits

Enterprise tier accounts: 10,000 requests per month. Limits reset every 30 days from the time of first use. For example, if you first use Kommo AI at 12 AM on April 27th, 2024, their limits will reset on May 28th, 2024, same time. The actual reset time may vary slightly due to technical constraints, but it will not impact user experience.

Trial accounts: 100 requests per month. If you switch to a different account type, the limit resets 30 days after the first signup.

Global limits

This type of limit applies to all Kommo users. It is meant to prevent system overload.

Daily global limits: If too many requests are made in a day, access to AI features will be blocked until resolved.

Monthly global limits: If too many requests are made in a month, access will be blocked for the rest of the month until resolved.
